Many parents meet with a lactation consultant from the hospital staff after delivery, but it is often rushed and impersonal. When parents arrive home with their baby, they can feel overwhelmed if there are latch issues or other concerns that often come with breastfeeding for first time parents. 

Our lactation consultants provide guidance on any lactation challenges including latching, low milk supply, pumping, supplementing, engorgement, slow weight gain, clogged ducts, mastitis, formula, weaning and more…we have you covered! Lactation  support doesn’t just mean we are here to enforce you nurse your baby around the clock. We are here to help you meet your goals when it comes to feeding your baby. 

Have a concern about bottle feeding or formula feeding? We can help with that too! We want to support you however you choose to feed your baby. No judgment, only solutions delivered with compassion and understanding.

Our team includes IBCLCs who hold the highest GOLD standard in lactation support. 

What to expect: 

An initial consultation is booked for 2 hours and is billed at $250. Most insurance companies will provide reimbursement for lactation consultants. You can also check Lactation Network to see if you can find us in your network. We accept most PPO plans. Most Savings Account (HSA) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are a qualified expense for lactation consultants. We DO NOT bill insurance directly. We DO provide you with a superb bill for reimbursement. 

We will start addressing your immediate needs. We want to provide a listening ear and hear what challenges you are facing at the moment. We will observe a feeding session and provide a pre/post weight feed based on the circumstances. We will then provide a detailed report on ways to address your challenges. If time presents, we are happy to discuss other topics such as sleep, safe milk storage, and any other concerns you may have. 

These consults will take place in your home in Miami, FL or virtually anywhere!
