Pelvic floor coaching and pelvic floor physical therapy have some differences.

Pelvic floor coaching is about helping new parents recover from the birth journey and adapt to the new normal. Kathy works with supporting parents on their best way to navigate the new changes in their bodies with lifestyle modifications in nutrition, sleep, time management, mindfulness  and exercise. New parents envision what they want and make SMART goals that help them achieve their vision. Kathy will be a good resource to help guide parents on their journey to better health. 

Pelvic floor physical therapy involves use of manual therapy techniques, postural education strategies, and therapeutic exercises to improve a patient’s pelvic floor strength and  normalize function.
